HONOLULU- Tim Ho Wan, the famed and popular “Dim SumSpecialists” from Hong Kong, announces the launch of itsnewest location in Honolulu at Royal Hawaiian ShoppingCenter, with a grand opening on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 10 a.m.
Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum Specialists was founded and is ownedby Chef Mak Kwai Pui, formerly the chef at Lung King Heen,a Michelin three-star restaurant, and at Four Seasons HotelHong Kong, along with partner Chef Leung Fai Keung.
“Hawaii is well known for its pineapples, and we are trying touse local products and support local vendors,” said AnnaTam, general manager of Tim Ho Wan Hawaii. As a result,Chef Mak has developed two dishes exclusive to Hawaii thatcombine traditional dim sum with Hawaiian cuisine: SteamedFish Bundle with Pineapple and Pan Fried Black Rice Mochi with Pineapple.
